Gabriel Doroshin is the 8th great-grandson of Tsar Nicholas I, Emperor of Russia from 1825-1855, and has been fighting against the Ukrainian military in the Donbass since his 18th birthday in 2015, initially for the Donetsk People’s Republic militia and now with the Russian Armed Forces.
