On a completely different topic, I've found a mens tailor company called askokeyinc. Their goal is to bring back 1950s era mens ware, suits. Probably one of the best tailor companies coming up. Im thinking of moving my wardrobe over to cotton suits. I thought I'd just raise awareness of this company. @Conrad @Dmitriy great episode, I look forward to Pascha! Alexander, men (myself included) need to start dressing better in public and on that note, I’m going to check out this site so thank you. We HAVE to fight the sick culture we’re in which has led to largely effeminate men (I.e. metrosexuals and slob men), neither of which have the respect of anyone. If you look back to photos from the Great Depression, pretty much ALL of the men in soup lines were wearing (worn) suits, button down shirts and ties. There’s no excuse for guys to set a bad example for their sons or boys on the street by dressing like slobs or wanna-be sex objects. Young, impressionable boys, look to other men as examples. A boy destined for the priesthood or marriage/family could be destroyed by falling into an admiration for a man who presents himself in a lazy, stupid, or immoral manner. We will be judged upon our deaths on many things including the examples we set for others to follow.
Agreed, and telling by their youtube shorts they know their craft well. The culture will have to be converted and Baptized so to speak over a span of decades, if we have that long Godwilling! We shouldn't adhere to enlightenment concepts, "rights" are nonexistent absent force, we shouldn't grant "rights" to evil people. Then again we shouldn't have "rights" but affirm that which is truely Godgiven – Comandments, Duties, and Responsibilities. The EO Christian Duty to defend your family and country would necessitate unbridled access to firearms. That would be one example, language, concepts, and ideas matter. In terms of politics, the best policy is to have families, rear the kids in the Eastern Orthodox Faith, instill EO Monarchist values in them, etc. As the Lord said The meek will inherit the earth. Everything from taking back the institutions, terraforming ruling power, to bringing back traditional wardrobe as a norm will take decades. Again if the Lord blesses us with time. I know this mythology is very important to hyphenate Greek friends, but they (the faithful and clergy) need to come to grips with the truth. Apostolic Sees SPEAK THE TRUTH.
