It is now obvious that we have been misled for a very long time.
As a nation we must REPENT.
It's pretty plain how it works:
Jeremiah 18:
The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it…
…And they said, “That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own plans, and we will every one obey the dictates of his evil heart.”
God uses nations to achieve Judgment upon other nations. It doesn't mean the nation being used for Judgment is in the right.
Example: Rome destroyed Jerusalem in 70AD. Rome too was destroyed.
We have many Protestant friends & colleagues, nothing against them as individuals & people, but generally speaking - as Orthodox Christians, we do not believe Protestantism is the correct representation of Christianity.
May I respectfully say that I have extensively investigated the claim of 100 Israeli tanks being destroyed this past year and found nothing but a trickle of reports coming from Hezbollah.
Islamic doctrine allows them to lie if it benefits them and their cause.
Allah is called "the great deceiver" by Muslims, and they celebrate and emulate this attribute.
